On 19 April 2024, ITAFoS academic officers received the UPM Media Visibility Award 2023 at L’ Apprenti, Universiti Putra Malaysia. They were Prof. Dr. Anjas Asmara Samsudin (Agricultural Media Visibility Award), Datin Paduka Prof. Dr. Fatimah Mohamed Arshad, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Abdul Samad and Dr. Mohd. Rafii Yusop who contributed a lot in their respective expertise to the community via media.

"Dato' Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan said this award was given as an appreciation to individuals and also Pusat Tanggungjawab (PTJ) who contributed a lot in writing expertise and ideas in making public advocacy successful for the benefit of Malaysians and increase the UPM's visibility in the media throughout the year of 2023.

Hopefully, with this award, we can give encouragement to other researchers, in making use of the knowledge for the community.
