Laboratory of Animal Production

 

This laboratory is one of the units under the governance of the Laboratory of Animal Production and Sustainable Biodiversity, Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS). It is located in the Central Laboratory (near the School of Graduate Studies), ITAFoS, UPM and is totally managed by the Head of Laboratory of Sustainable Animal Production and Biodiversity.

 

The laboratory is doing research on animal nutrigenomics, animal biotechnology, animal production, animal nutrition of ruminants and non-ruminants, animal welfare, animal physiology, the science of meat and livestock waste.
